Highland Park

Highland Park is the only distillery on Orkney and it's based in the capital, Kirkwall. It is the most northerly based distillery in Scotland.

I will have to taste this again (notes missing), but this whisky is delightfully peated as it is malted over peat fires. A wonderful whisky for long (and dark) evenings.

Sorry, but I find the 12-year-old a lot better than this. It's very good, but to me it's not worth the extra money.
