There have been stories for as long as I can remember.
Heroic stories of clever and inventive individuals sent me to sleep when I was a kid; the adventures of a lone Scotsman kicked me into puberty; at the age of fourteen I wrote my first "novel". It had everything that either dominates or frequently tends to slip into my current books: something Scottish, a set of twins, an underdog, an odd one out. There is nothing that binds my books more than the presence of a different point of view, one individual who looks at and deals with life differently than most.
You can only write about what you know, I was once told. So this is my world, in stories: not much heroism or many great deeds; but often a lone point of view; dipped in a Scottish atmosphere. Aye, Scotland as my inspiration. It's rich enough.
Some books are finished and printed. As you can see from the banner above, some have old covers and are therefore no longer available - as yet - as opposed to the paperback that are readily available. Other books need a brief review, whereas others have been written and rewritten and still need a further update. Hopefully many more will come.
