My Scotland - History
language

"He who is determined to write history in literary form should avoid the early history of Scotland."
A quote by the renowned historian A. O. Anderson from 1940
Still, it's such a fascinating period, right?

Scottish history

Like everything else on my website, don't expect this to be a standard treatise on Scottish history subjects. It is and will be a mixture of various items, subjects, individuals, places, buildings, etc. My page about history books lists several books relating to broader or well-defined periods or dealing with particular places and buildings. So take a peek there.
These pages are a work in progress. I will keep adding items, linking people with places and/or individuals with buildings.

Below you may find an index of Who's Who and Places and Buildings. To the right of the index there is a (growing) list of (important) dates. Some are/will be clickable. Others are not.
