The only clues are the Gaelic poem titles of Duncan Ban MacIntyre himself. They lead the team to Glen Orchy, back to the birthplace of the original hunter-poet. Malcolm and the others leave no stone unturned to find out who is behind this cruel game, as Nic tries to read the poetic landscape to uncover not only the hunter’s true motive, but also her own fate.
