Life is a board game to Helen, and every player has his or her own rules to move her around. Her stepsister uses devious intelligence, whilst the man she tries to divorce excels in flirtatious charm. Her own sons entered the board as well, eager to be her knights in shining armour. And on the sideline there is one figure left: a master storyteller of fantastic tales, towering over both her stepsister and her husband, and ultimately dividing her sons.
I had always wanted to write a book about the mythical creatures roaming Scotland of old and in this book, I really enjoyed myself.
